Saw Cro Mags last year, new line up. Also Saw Harley Flannagan in Long Beach at a lil club, dudes cool as fuck. He gave a shot out to that dude who commited suicide from Rage/Sound Garden. Harley said "nah b, we all got depression". I was there yo. Always been into socal hardcore, but now exploring other genres. 2 months ago. But seriously, although not nearly the same punk, both Green Day and Offspring used to be good.

The album's cover reflected the band's interest in the Hare Krishna religion which started with previous singer John Joseph and then carried on through Harley Flanagan who also became a devotee. The Krishna faith was ultimately the demise of the band, as the contradiction of a faith of pacifism against the violence of the band's music was often even too much for the band members to handle. However, before this, in 1992, their next album, Alpha Omega, saw the return of John Joseph to the Cro-Mags fold, and an even further gravitation towards a metal sound. After the short, sharp.
The band itself is an inescapable presence in any legitimate discussion of hardcore. The name is rightfully enshrined in the linage of punk rock. In this respect the Cro-Mags music reflected their views and experiences of the times: the album’s very title Age of Quarrel refers to the Hindu period of Kali Yuga, the time cycle of ultimate spiritual degradation.
