Monster Movie is the debut studio album by German rock band Can, released in August 1969 by Music Factory and Liberty Records. In 1968 Can had produced an album entitled Prepared to Meet Thy Pnoom, which no record company agreed to release (recordings were eventually released on LP in 1981 as part of Delay 1968).

With Slowdive's Christian Savill as a partner to Sean Hewson, this band can trace its own roots back to the very roots of the shoegaze genre. The third full-length offering from Christian Savill (Slowdive) and Sean Hewson, All Lost features supremely melodic and ethereal pop laden with distortion, otherworldly effects and strangely radiant drone. Vocals are clear and serene, and include meltingly lovely contributions from Rachel Staggs (Experimental Aircraft, Eau Claire). With twelve tracks of dreamy, crystalline music spun out of faraway starlight and falling shadows, this album will wrap your heart up in its pale blue shimmer and keep you forever.

In 1989 we (Christian Savill and Sean Hewson) were a couple of hairy sixth formers with unlikely body shapes and unlovely faces.
