Land of the Lost is the fourth studio album by punk rock band Wipers, released by Restless/Enigma in 1986 on LP, CD and cassette. The record remains highly sought after and collectable. Land of the Lost is a 2009 American adventure comedy film directed by Brad Silberling, written by Chris Henchy and Dennis McNicholas and starring Will Ferrell, Danny McBride and Anna Friel, loosely based on the 1974 Sid and Marty Krofft television series of the same name. The film was theatrically released on June 5, 2009 by Universal Pictures.

On Land of the Lost, Sage & Co. sound like a more concise Television. The mood's melancholic and dark yet never depressing, while the combination of Sage's vocals, gritty guitar style, and the trance-like grooves of Plouf and Davidson display beauty and force, soothing hypnosis, and jarring aggression. The original Land of the Lost series was remade in the 1990s, with Timothy Bottoms as the father, although in this version, his name was Tom Porter, not Rick Marshall. Bottoms and Will Ferrell are both well known for their impersonations of George W. Bush. If you like Will Ferrell you will like most jokes in this movie, it is very funny and in my opinion close to The Hangover.
