AXKAN starts off the title track, Torment (A1), with a strong and distorted broken beat, with clean cutting snares and continues with a dirty Prophet 5 string pad melody which gives the whole release its unique melancholic character. The Distance (A2) has hard 4X4 kicks with rim shots raining everywhere in this dark, storm-like original track. Luis Flores’ remix of Torment (B2) comes in with the perfect dramatic announcement of a broken techno master piece continuing with exciting percussive rhythms and dark melodies based on the original lead synth.
