I don't often make a point of listening to good latin music. Mainly because I already getplenty of exposure to it's myriad of styles due to the fact that I live in an area with avery high concentration of Latino culture called the Mission district. But on theoccasion that I do want to hear a really good latin record, then this LP byOrquesta Impacto (possibly the only LP this group ever made while they existed)Is just about the best sounding thing in this genre that I have ever found. Stylisticallyit's kind of all over the map with salsa, bolero, Cuban, and more. I not reallyan expert in this genre but I can tell that this is "the good shit!" that you want to hear.
