The Cramps were an American Punk band formed in 1976 and active until 2009. The band split after the death of lead singer Lux Interior. Their line-up rotated frequently during their existence, with the husband-and-wife duo of Interior and lead guitarist and occasional bass guitarist Poison Ivy comprising the only ever-present members. The addition of guitarist Bryan Gregory and drummer Pam Balam resulted in the first complete lineup in April 1976.

Slightly sad/weird timing but still. by ianmanwho15 Feb, 2010. when i first heard this album it blew my socks off. what can i say the cramps never lost it like some people said the devils music hit in the face full on and makeing want more a fantastic album. the cramps - stay sick cd 1994. i bought it to replace a LP album for my dad as a gift, he seemed really happy with it considering he hasn't stopped playing it since i bought it him. Best-selling in CDs.

The Cramps waited four years after their top-notch A Date With Elvis before releasing their next studio album. The result is unfortunately one of the weakest platters in their canon. Most all the songs here follow the same rockabilly-based formula of previous releases; unfortunately, much of the group's usual fire is missing here.
