Nina Hagen in Ekstasy is the third studio album by German singer Nina Hagen. It was released on January 10, 1985, by CBS Records. The German version of the album Nina Hagen in Ekstase was released simultaneously. It was Hagen's last album released on the CBS label, before her recording contract expired in 1986. The album is mainly produced by Adam Kidron and was recorded in Ibiza and Paris. Hagen worked with Karl Rucker and Billy Liesegang and wrote most of the songs on the album.

Catharina "Nina" Hagen (born 11 March 1955) is a German singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her theatrical vocals and rose to prominence during the punk and new wave movements in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Born in the former East Berlin, German Democratic Republic, Hagen began her career as an actress when she appeared in several German films alongside her mother Eva-Maria Hagen.

Catharina "Nina" Hagen (born 11 March 1955) is a German singer and actress. She has performed throughout the world, and has been doing so for over 40 years.

Prima Nina in Ekstase. On the cover photo, Nina appears as a Cramps-esque version of Anita Ekberg. The sound here is less conceptual than either "Nunsexmonkrock" or "Fearless"; "In Ekstase" sounds trashier than those two previous discs; I'd call it "The B-Sides of Fearless". That being said - It features some great numbers. In a side note, a few years after this album came out, when Ken Griffey, jr. was at his peak (before he went to Cincinnati) he was in a commercial that used the opening to "The Lord's Prayer". I only saw it once, so I believe some advertising exec snuck it in before the higher ups realized who and what it was.
