Surf Or Die by Onoe Caponoe, released 29 March 2019 1. Introduction 2. Suicide City 3. Red Planet 4. Miss Universe 5. Blood Moon (City Hunt) 6. Carnival Of Souls (Hypno Pop) 7. Valentines Massacre 8. Graveyard Funk 9. Behind the Wall Of Sleep 10. Chop Em Down (Mosh Of The Dead) Feat. foggy Onoe Caponoe yet again delivers an immersive, catchy experimental hip hop album. The beats are insane, the man kills every track, and he's not at all afraid to try different things throughout the album to progress the medium as an artform. Chakra Awesome experimental album! Lots of cool tracks. The beats are dope, it's best served whole as it is more like a journey rather than the usual collection of random tracks.

Surf or die! We surfed as Magellan; we surfed as Columbus We surf around the world, and we don't need a compass We have no beginning We have no end If you're reincarnated, you'll surf with us again! Surf! . Or die! Now on the beach, Californ-I-A Where another surfers born every single day Zuma Jay board, the one I use to surf We put on our wheels when we're rollin' on the dirt We roll through the streets, we roll through the valleys We roll through the hills, and we roll through the alleys Once on water, now on land If.

Complete your Surf MC's collection. Album is not that bad. Today I was hangin' out listening to them and I can even say - I enjoyed it. Lyrics and flow are quite lousy (i wouldn't call them mcs at all), but beats (despite being a cheap copy of "licensed to ill") got the groove and it makes this album a good one for parties. Of course i know "Surf Or Die" is not very good and can't be compared to the best albums from that period, but, i would say - it is quite enjoyable.

Well, say what you will, I'm not old enough to remember trends of this era in hip hop, but fuckin' A this is GREAT in my opinion, just because it's a condensation of so many different 80's trends, most of them.Granted... the album is very duded out, and mini truckish... but how is that any different than rap of today?I will take cornballs who front like surf / sk8 / beach bum over today's rappers, who act for the most part like angry ignorant cornballs motivated by fear and lack of understanding... what can i say. How can anyone say this is bad, compared to the garbage that's dumped out now a days? Every song has a theme (something that will damn near get you God-like status in today's hip hop world) and it takes a lot of balls to put out a cover like that, then or now. I just put this LP on my want list, since I found a cassette version and it's been in heavy rotation all week. As a former skateboarder, all I can say is "GOTTA GET AIR"! EAT BREAD TO SHRED
