Blood on the Moon is a 1948 RKO black-and-white "psychological" western directed by Robert Wise, with cinematography by Nicholas Musuraca. The film, starring Robert Mitchum, Barbara Bel Geddes, and Robert Preston, has many film noir elements. It was shot in California, and some of the more scenic shots at Red Rock Crossing, Sedona, Arizona. The picture is based on the novel Gunman's Chance by Luke Short.

Throbbing Gristle and Joy Division... Such imagination. Please, go back to school this record sounds nothing like either of those bands. Chrome are their own thing, if you want to describe the record, describe how it makes you feel - don't cosign and throw in pop punk paraphernalia

hahaha well Helios Creed said ones he´s developed his guitar style by wanting to sound like Tommi Iommie under LSD. Or no he said he found his style by listening to Black Sabbath on trip. And off course this is a metal record somehow eaven if Chrome didn´t dare to pervade this to the end

Avoid like the plague. Badly mastered from a vinyl source that was of questionable quality. Noticeable noise reduction reduces impact of percussion section. Tons of siblance distortion and extremely tinny overall. Bad bad bad

Despite the faithful reproduction of the outer & inner sleeves, this [Lilith 2010 reissue] is NOT a reissue of the original "Blood on the Moon". Yes, it has the same track listing, but about 50% of the tracks are sourced from (I guess) the "live in Bologna" sessions, where the sound is muddy and the band isn't really "on fire". If you're considering buying this for "Planet Strike" (excellent instrumental that doesn't feature on the chrome box), then don't, because it's a plodding, badly recorded live version here. I don't know whether this mix-up is due to licensing issues, laziness, confusion, or profiteering urges, but in my opinion, it's a waste of 180g vinyl, and would indeed be a waste of your money.

I can confirm this. What an incredible waste of money. You can get the original for a similar price. It was also oddly warped for 180 grams. Just a marketing gimmick. Glad I sold this.
