Menudo, also known as pancita ( gut or stomach, from Spanish: Panza; "Gut/Stomach") or mole de panza ("Stomach sauce"), is a traditional Mexican soup, made with cow's stomach (tripe) in broth with a red chili pepper base. Hominy, lime, onions, and oregano are used to season the broth.

Menudo (Spanish synonym for "little"-and, in Puerto Rican Spanish, for "loose change") was a Puerto Rican-based, Latino boy band that was formed in the 1970s by producer Edgardo Díaz. Menudo was one of the biggest Latin boy bands in history, releasing their first album in 1977.

Menudo is one of the most paramount Latin boy bands in music history, releasing their first album in 1977. The band achieved record-breaking worldwide success during the 1980s, becoming the most popular Latin American teen music group of the era. The band would go on to achieve international triumph, taking Europe, North America and even Asia by storm. Menudo was unlike many traditional boy bands in that they consisted of a lengthy list of members, as Diaz changed out a majority of them after they turned 16. Only after 39 male singers participated in Menudo's global success did the group.
