Vrooom (stylised as VROOOM) is a mini-album by the band King Crimson released in 1994, a companion to the subsequent album THRAK (1995). All of the tracks on Vrooom (with the exception of "Cage" and "When I Say Stop, Continue") reappeared on Thrak as different recordings. All songs written by Adrian Belew, Bill Bruford, Robert Fripp, Trey Gunn, Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto. Vrooom" – 7:34 (includes Coda: Marine 475, and a 0:17 unlisted 'Intro' piece on original releases).
Vrooom Vrooom includes much of the same frenetic energy and immaculate sonics that awaited attendees of these performances. Happily much of the repertoire focuses on materials from the 1995 studio release, Thrak, King Crimson's first in over a decade. Likewise, both the Mexico City and New York City sets are laden with the profound and otherwise solicitous vibes that present themselves whenever this band is running at full capacity on all six cylinders.
Vrooom Vrooom is a live album (2-CD set) by the band King Crimson, released in 2001. Although it was released during the active lifespan of the 2000–2003 King Crimson Double Duo lineup (and following two albums featuring this lineup, the construKction of light and the live Heavy ConstruKction), Vrooom Vrooom is compiled from recordings by the previous six-man line-up of the band (the Double Trio which lasted from 1994 to 1997). The eleventh track on the disc, Biker Babes of the Rio Grande, is an alternative version of the track Fearless and Highly Thrakked, featured on Thrakattak (1996) (track 2) and King Crimson on Broadway (2-CD set) (1999) (disc 2, track 12).
VROOOM VROOOM is a music live recording by KING CRIMSON (Eclectic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 2001 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Vroom Vroom is a great Crimson live album which sits well alongside The Night Watch and Absent Lovers, although of the three it is probably the least essential. It gives a good overview of a remarkable band in full flight. The Mexico City disc opens with a quintet of instrumentals and improvisations circa the Thrak album: "Vroom Vroom," "Coda: Marine 475," "B'Boom," and the title track, "Thrak," as well as more structured compositions such as "Dinosaur. disc includes "People" and "Sex Sleep Eat Drink Dream," as well as profound renderings of "One Time.
