Insidious is the fifth album by the melodic death metal band Nightrage. The album was released on 26 September in Europe and a day later in North America (27 September) through German label, Lifeforce Records. The Japanese version of the album includes a cover of Def Leppard's "Photograph".

Nightrage is a Greek melodic death metal band, originally from Thessaloniki. They later re-located to Gothenburg, Sweden. Nightrage was founded by Marios Iliopoulos and his close friend Gus G in June 2000. They made their first demo in 2001, then another 2 demos in 2002. Their first release, Sweet Vengeance, was released in 2003 and featured drummer Per Möller Jensen (The Haunted), and bassist Brice Leclercq

However, Insidious has enough decent material on here to at least ensure that it may garner a bit more attention than it already has. Now the first thing to note about the bands fifth studio effort is that it is very much a Nightrage plus friends effort. When all is said and done however, Nightrage’s Insidious is a decent album that thankfully contains more plus than negative points.

Insidious is the fifth album by melodic death metal band Nightrage and was released in September 2011 through Lifeforce Records. Interestingly, it is also the first Nightrage album to feature the same band line up as on their previous album but is littered with guests which include almost every previous member of Nightrage like At the Gates’ Tomas Lindberg and other metal stalwarts such as Firewind’s Apollo Papathanasio. The album consists of 15 relatively short tracks totalling only just over 53 mins in length although that does include a short instrumental intro, outro and a prelude.
