The Black Album is an unofficial compilation album of solo material by members of the British rock group the Beatles. It was created by the American actor Ethan Hawke, and became widely known as a result of its inclusion in the 2014 film Boyhood.

Weezer, also known as "The Black Album", is Weezer's thirteenth studio album. It was intended as a follow-up album to 2016's Weezer (The White Album). The album that was supposed to contrast the Weezer (The White Album) lyrically and musically. It had faced many delays the album halted production as they released 2017's Pacific Daydream. Rivers had stated in multiple interviews that the album was going to be urban, feature more synths, and would be ten steps further than Pacific Daydream.
