InMe are an English alternative metal band from Brentwood, Essex, formed in 1996. Inme has released six studio albums, two EPs, one "bootleg" album, one best-of compilation, one live album, one live EP and an acoustic album. A DVD of the band's Overgrown Eden show at the Highbury Garage on 18 November 2010 was released via pledgemusic as a part of the band's campaign for their fifth album The Pride. The band has had eight singles appear on the UK Top 100 Singles Chart.

Single of the Weak" is the ninth single by Essex alternative metal band InMe. It was the first single to be released from their fourth album Herald Moth. It was released on 31 August 2009. The cover artwork for the promo CD was designed by bass player Greg McPherson and contains his brand new Inme logo. It was written in response to a record producer who told InMe that their songs for their 4th album Herald Moth should be shorter, catchier and not contain any guitar solos. After much speculation, the first single was announced as "Single of the Weak" which was released on August 17, a week later than intended, with Greg McPherson confirming this via the band's official forums. On 29 June 2009, the band released the album's artwork via their MySpace, as well as setting a provisional release date of 31 August. Herald Moth was eventually released on 14 September through Graphite Records. It reached in the UK chart. Ben Konstantinovic and InMe amicably parted ways during the touring period of the album and was replaced by Gary Marlow (formerly of Dry Rise) in February 2010.
