Elizabeta Lāce was born on 11th October, 1989 in multi-national family in Murmansk, RSFSR. land of her grandfather, whose surname Lācis in Latvian means the most dangerous and unpredictable animal - The Bear. Her debut album "Mōaigā"(Landside) granted her critical acclaim and was designed to bring attention to environmental and socially-ethnical changes by the sea - in historical Livonian land, identifying herself as Finno-Ugric with shamanic tribal blood from Kamchatka on Mother's side yet with strong german-judeo religious imprints, as well as to make concrete statement on possibilities of harp as a. solo instrument, accompanied by book with images and texts - all created by Elizabeta.
Elizabeta Lāce is a performance artist from Rīga, Latvia, who is currently living in Helsinki, Finland. Her artistic, professional and academic journey is characterized by the concept of inner freedom, richness in diversity and the courage of acceptance.
