Development and composition of the album began in 2013, with recording taking place during a two-week span at the beginning of 2014. The album's production was primarily handled by No . with smaller contributions from a variety of record producers, including 6ix, DJ Dahi, DJ Khalil, S1, Jake One and Dun Deal.

Never Again is the second full-length album released by Discharge, in 1984, and is their first compilation album. It should not be confused with the EP of the same name. It includes tracks from their eponymous debut album, and from their previous extended plays.

Never Again (22 Jan 1981). is a pedestrian episode of "Magnum . It's by no means a bad episode, but it's far from the best. There are some decent moments and Thomas Magnum again breaks the 4th wall by looking directly at the viewer. There's a twisty plot to engage the viewer, too. 7 out of 10.
