José María De León Hernández (born October 17, 1940), known professionally as Little Joe is an American tejano performer who grew up in Temple, Texas, and lives in San Antonio. The Latinaires eventually became known as Little Joe and the Latinaires. Today he is usually joined by his band La Familia. In 1992, their album 16 de Septiembre earned the Grammy Award for Best Mexican-American Performance. In 2008, Little Joe once again won a Grammy for Best Tejano Album of the year for Before the Next Teardrop Falls. Other Grammy nominated albums include Timeless (1988), 1993's Que Paso (1993), Little Joe y La Familia 2000 (1999), and Celebration of Life Vo. & Vo. (2003).

Johnny has his 9-piece band Johnny Hernandez y La Gente in Austin, TX and they are not only providing a dynamic repertoire (From Knock On Wood, Down Home Blues and Oldies to Boleros and Bosas) for different venues; but also a complete four-rhythm/five horn section band to perform his Tejano Music Repertoire for the appropriate venues. Also on this first Album was the beautiful Bolero Mil Besos that touched the hearts of Johnny’s fans making it a must selection to be re-recorded and placed on the CD Gracias, Por Todos Los Exitos. Jesse, (Johnny and Little Joe’s other brother and Bass player with The Latinaires) wrote a song called Ramona and told Johnny to do the vocals on it, this too became a hit for the band, and so at the request of his fans, Johnny included it with a new rendition.
