Headspace is the second studio full-length album by the American band Issues, released through Rise Records. It shapes the previous sound of the band, in which their composition mixing R&B and metalcore was a lot more abrupt as so as heavier. This well-structured album presents an original idea with metalcore and punk fluidly mixing with the sounds of R&B, pop, funk, jazz and even rap tunes as well. What is "Headspace" about? I think Headspace really just tells the story of our band, Tyler Carter told Upset Magazine.

Issues began recording the album on January 23, 2015 and discussed a hopefulness in an exciting change in sound. Ty "Scout" Acord left the band, as an official member, a month before album's recording was done, however continued to record the album with the band  . Praising the album, Michelle Beck for Revival Media said, "Headspace is a mish-mash masterpiece of genres and one huge step forward in Issues' development as a band. You can clearly hear both lyrically and musically how much the band have matured in the two years since the release of their self titled album.

With the post-hardcore band Issues’ second studio album, Headspace, their implementation of outside influences is a little too obvious. In fact, it’s a bit baffling as to how they came to some of their musical decisions. Instead of focusing on one genre to draw inspiration from, Headspace presents itself as this widespread celebration of a number of genres of music. This can be seen in nearly every track on the album. On Headspace, Issues show that something different doesn’t equal something good, but they also show that something different has the potential to be something great.
