Cornucopia - Full Horn album flac

Another one of these forgotten small gems hidden in the heart of Krautrock. This unit made a lone album then vanished into the wilderness of life and it is a real shame because this is a real good piece of music. Although listed here on PA under fusion, Cornucopia's sole album Full Horn is what I'd personally call a genuine Krautrock gem. Sporting a murky yet highly eclectic and varied sound, this album is a regular force to be reckoned with. Krautrock was more than just a few chosen artists such as Amon D��l, Can and Neu! - and even if those 3 acts pretty comfortably illustrate just how wide the range of sound was, it still doesn't quite put into focus just how sprawling and diverse the scene was.

1973's Full Horn was Cornucopia's only release, but the seven members of this German progressive rock band made sure that it was a worthwhile accomplishment. From the onset of "Day of a Daydreambeliever," the album's opening track, Cornucopia's misty, phantasmal sound is set adrift with the softness of numbing vocal harmonies that emerge from the background. But from here, the song begins to breed patient rhythms and a certain sci-fi milieu that wonderfully sets the mood, picking up the pace which is led by a marching bassline

Cornucopia's sole album Full Horn is what I'd personally call a genuine Krautrock gem. Kraan, Exmagma, Embryo, Guru Guru and Passport all paddled these waters, whilst still, at least during their first couple of albums, remaining deeply planted within the German kosmische scene - better known as Krautrock today. Cornucopia fit the bill as well, although I think they are among the least fusion sounding of these bands.
