Hassisen kone was a Finnish rock band, founded in 1979 in Joensuu. The original line-up consisted of Ismo Alanko (vocals, guitar), Reijo Heiskanen (guitar), Jussi Kinnunen (bass guitar) and Harri Kinnunen (drums, occasionally clarinet). The first album, Täältä tullaan Venäjä was released in 1980, the second album, Rumat Sävelet was released in 1981 and the third and last album, Harsoinen Teräs was released in 1982. Hassisen kone then disbanded in 1982, but it performed again together in 2001.

Rumat sävelet (Finnish for "The Ugly Tunes") is the second album of Finnish rock band Hassisen Kone. It was a successful follow-up to the group's debut Täältä tullaan Venäjä, and was certified platinum in 2005. Ismo Alanko has said that the album's lyrics partly reflected how he experienced the sudden success of their debut album. This is most evident in the song "Jurot nuorisojulkkikset" ("Surly Youth Celebrities").

Täältä tullaan Venäjä (Finnish for "Russia Here We Come") is the debut album of Hassisen Kone. It was released in 1980, shortly after the newly formed band had won the Finnish Rock championship. The outspoken lyrics of the opening track "Rappiolla" shocked, among others, Yleisradio reporters Anneli Tempakka and Maija Dahlgren, who started protesting against indecency in rock lyrics
