MONEY, the Skeleton’s third album, is even more ambitious in concept and execution than previous efforts; stretching the notion of the financial plight of the starving artist in the big city across ten thematically-tied tracks.

Skeletons deliver an avant-garde explosion that strains the contours of the album to their absolute breaking point. There's naturally a bit of damage within, but not so much that you can't still find some real treasure amidst the debris. There's a very fine line between avant-garde brilliance and incoherence, and Money finds Skeletons walking that line precariously.

Skeletons in the Closet is the first compilation cover album by the Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom, released on September 22, 2009 through Spinefarm Records. The album only contains four unreleased covers for the songs "Hell Is for Children", "Antisocial", "War Inside My Head", and "Waiting", but the previously released songs are remixed and new details can be heard. Stirred into nauseating life with the selfsame chorus of car horns which must surely have kept its authors awake during recording in Times Square, Money announces itself as New York experimentalists Skeletons’ grapple with the tussle and grime of life in the contemporary urban jungle. We end on a ray of Latin American sunshine with ‘Eleven’ which boasts handclaps and most memorable chorus on the album, but in the end what should have provided a lustrous grace note only reinforces the idea that Skeletons could do with channelling their undoubted chops in the service of some more solid ideas.
