In 1977 he started with the avant-garde rock/jazz project YETI which existed until 1990. He additionally was involved in two other bands named THIRD SUN and COOL AND THE CLONES.

Boston is the debut studio album by American rock band Boston. Produced by Tom Scholz and John Boylan, the album was released on August 25, 1976, in the United States by Epic Records. Scholz had studied classical piano in his childhood and became involved in the Boston music scene in the late 1960s.
The electronic improvisation music project of Doug "Dr. Synth" Walker. St. Albans Queens, New York City. Doug made some space-rock compilation cassettes for me to study and groove on in anticipation of moving this incarnation of Alien Planetscapes into a live performing ensemble. He was very enthusiastic about the chances for his space-rock themed project being promoted alongside a resurgent interest in Hawkwind and other legendary jam bands touring again.

Alien Planetscapes was an American electronic group founded by Doug Walker in the late 70s with the intention of melding free jazz with Berlin school electronic music. The group continued with varying collaborators until Walker's death in 2006. 2019-06-05 Legendary Co-Founder of The 13th Floor Elevators Passes Away at Age 71 – Sadly, Roky Erickson passed away on May 31, 2019. Known as the father of psychedelic music and co-founder of the ground breaking 13th Floor Elevators, Roky had a profound influence on music from the 60s to today. Plagued by his own personal demons, Roky had a difficult life and is now free of these burdens.
