Nothing to get really excited joint of Carl Craig. Nice Acid Mix by Rabbit In The Moon (still works on the dance floor 2019).Really deep (like 6 feet under) mixes by Ether. Some may call it ambient.High quality pressing on heavy vinyl.
Chillhunter
This is an excellent, obscure double pack with the standouts the acidic remix by Rabbit in the Moon and Carl Craig's interpretation. This label was originally managed out of Dublin in 1995 not the US.

I met Sean, lovely guy. Would have been 92, he played a gig where I lived.

Yeah Phuturegroove sounds familiar. There was a record shop of the same name here in Belfast around the same time not sure if they're linked. Sean McCann ran it. He was djing a bit round Dublin back then too, Kitchen etc. It's a great record the Rabbit in the Moon remix is great as is the Carl Craig remix.

I know Jay Ahern well, from record shops at the time, That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I think he might have done something with Mark Dixon too, he ran a shop around then too. (Phuturegroove??) Thanks man. That's an interesting story. And yes, he used to dj around a bit

Jay Ahern ran it out of Temple Bar in Dublin as reported in Mixmag's weekly magazine at the time (1995 - the copy I bought when I was 19) which detailed new weekly house releases. On the promo sheet for the record it also detailed it was being managed out of Dublin - Gordon Kaye reviewed it and said this. Intrigued I bought it. He moved the label (and himself presumably) to the US a few releases in from what I can gather from Discogs. Ahern is an Irish name so I don't know much more about him. However I think he was djing round Dublin at the time from conversations I had with people at the time. I tried to change this actual release to Ireland on the site but was met with a barrage of cataloguing bureaucracy by the trainspotter mafia on this site so I f***ing gave up.

Ran out of Dublin? by who? I never knew that.
