It is located 18 miles (29 km) east of Mariposa, at an elevation of 5062 feet (1543 m). The population was 59 at the 2010 census. Fish Camp is on Highway 41 in California. It is located just south of the entrance to Yosemite National Park, and 12 miles north of the town of Oakhurst in Madera County
