Pseudo Echo are an Australian new wave band that formed in 1982 in Melbourne. The original line-up consisted of Brian Canham (vocals, guitars and keyboards), Pierre Gigliotti (as Pierre Pierre) (bass guitar, keyboards), Tony Lugton (guitars and keyboards) and Anthony Argiro (drums). A later line-up included James Leigh (keyboards) and his brother, Vince Leigh (drums)

In 2012, Pseudo Echo gathered for shows to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of their first single "Listening". The band agreed to record a new album. To fund recording, singer Brian Canham approached PledgeMusic to use fan-power to finance the album’s recording and manufacturing.

Formed in the early eighties by school friends Brian Canham (vocals, guitars, and keyboards) and Pierre Gigliotti (bass and keyboards), the band completed its lineup with Anthony Agiro (drums) and Tony Lugton (guitars and keyboards). Their first album Autumnal Park was an Ultravox-influenced album that yielded the Australian singles "Listening" (produced by Peter Dawkins), "Stranger in Me", "Dancing Till Midnight", and "Beat for You".

Pseudo Echo's "A Beat for You" video, the follow up release to "Listening" circa '84. The clip was directed by husband/wife team Vogue photographer, the late Peter McLean and styled by his wife Australian fashion designer Katie Pie.
