Screen Memories is the fourth studio album by American musician John Maus, released on October 27, 2017. The album was his first set of newly-recorded music since We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves (2011). Recorded in two years at his Austin, Minnesota home, most of the its subject matter concerns apocalyptic themes inspired by the newsfeed of world events he garnered while making the LP. Some of its song structures and melodies were created with the aid of an artificial neural network.

Much like our 2017's Best Tracks feature, we arrived at this albums list by drawing on this year's Best Music features and asking for the opinions of RA staff and contributors. And again like that feature, the aim here isn't to be comprehensive-think of it as a snapshot of the albums we thought were somehow extraordinary. Dresvn into Objekt, Photek into Don't DJ, Walter Brown into Yves Tumor-fabric 92 is perhaps the finest example yet of Joe Seaton's fearless and idiosyncratic DJ style. But more than that, it's a monument to DJing itself, showing how, with the right combination of taste, skill and daring, mixing records can have transcendental results. Various Visceral Minds 2 Fractal Fantasy. The Visceral Minds 2 compilation is exemplary in two ways.

I downloaded the album, and with the lights turned down low watched him softly sing along with these songs for almost 2 hours (I bought volumes 1 & 2). I closed my eyes myself and was carried back to my childhood. It was a true moment of peace in a time of chaos. 50 people found this helpful. I have multiple copies of these CDs; and I never tire of listening to this uplifting music. The Precious Memories collection is a treasure that will passed down through multiple generations within our family.

Various artists compilations are compilation albums that feature tracks by more than one artist. To get the most out of compilations, making them more navigable in your music library, you need to treat them differently to other albums. Unlike albums, various artist compilations do not make up one contiguous body of work by an artist. This means they often require some form of separation while navigating. For instance, say you are interesting in playing an entire album by one particular artist
