A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night is an album of classic 20th-century standards sung by American singer Harry Nilsson. The album was arranged by Frank Sinatra's arranger Gordon Jenkins, and produced by Derek Taylor. In 1988, it was reissued as A Touch More Schmilsson in the Night, containing an intro and outro (studio chatter) and six additional songs from the recording sessions.
Recorded at CTS, The Music Centre, Wembley, London, between March 15 & March 22, 1973. Mixed, with a six-word overdub, between April 4 & April 6, 1973. This Is All I Ask" was partially re-sung at RCA's New York studios on April 28 & 29, 1973, final remix at CTS May 7, 1973. Final masters cut at Apple Studios, May 8, 1973. Phillip McDonald appears courtesy of Apple. Public performance clearance: ASCAP. This album is dedicated to Frank Wills. Dynaflex pressing with orange center labels.
