Nobody Told Me (оригинал John Lennon). Everybody's talking and no one says a word. Everybody's making love and no one really cares. There's Nazis in the bathroom just below the stairs. Nobody told me there'd be days like these. Strange days indeed - strange days indeed. Everybody's runnin' and no one makes a move. Everyone's a winner and nothing left to lose.
John Lennon wrote this song in 1976 with the working title "Everybody's Talkin', Nobody's Talkin'. He recorded the song at the sessions for his 1980 album Double Fantasy, but decided not to include it on the set, giving it to his Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr instead

by John Lennon ft. Song "Nobody Told Me" Lyrics. album "Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John Lennon".
Although John Lennon originally intended for Ringo Starr to record Nobody Told Me, the song remained unreleased until the posthumous 1984 album Milk And Honey. Performed on a piano with a drum machine backing, the song had most of the final lyrics of Nobody Told Me, and the chords were in place, although some fine-tuning was needed before it was complete. Lennon later added more vocals and an acoustic guitar track onto the 1976 demo prior to recording Double Fantasy. This version kept the verses of Everybody's Talkin', Nobody's Talkin', but Lennon sang the chorus of Nobody Told Me over the top of the previous one. He then taped a new version of the song, which was intended for Starr. It was recorded on acoustic guitar with a drum.
