Fflur Dafydd is an award-winning novelist, singer/songwriter and musician. Although predominantly publishing in Welsh, she also writes in English. It was recorded at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff. Un Ffordd Mas" (One Way Out) (2007) was her second solo album, under the name of Fflur Dafydd a'r Barf. Byd Bach" (Small World) (2009) was also released by Fflur Dafydd a'r Barf. Ffydd Gobaith Cariad" (Faith Hope Love) (2012) made no mention of Y Barf, although several of the musicians appearing on the album were members of the band.

Certainly there is something on this album for everyone, and it once again showcases the unique partnership between Fflur and her excellent band, Y Barf. Although no one musical style drives the album, with each location claiming its own particular musical style and flavour, we can certainly recognise the musical energy and strong, catchy melodies that have come to characterise Fflur Dafydd a’r Barf over the past three years, and have certainly been responsible for their broad appeal in Wales and beyond.
