Not only is this a demonstration of the drum & percussion genius of Keith LeBlanc, it has more political, rhetorical power than most of Malcolm's recorded speeches. Sadly, the superb black & white cover photograph was not used when the 12" was released by Tommy Boy in the U.S.. LeBlanc *still* remains unacknowledged for his towering body of work and massive influence. And Malcolm X, were he not cut down in the prime of his life, would have gone on to exert political power and create social change that one can only imagine-and the possibilities are extraordinary.

genetit has more political, rhetorical power than most of Malcolm's recorded speeches. Are you serious????! genet And Malcolm X, were he not cut down in the prime of his life, would have gone on to exert political power and create social change that one can only imagine-and the possibilities are extraordinary.Malcolm has created so much social change and exerted social and political power way BEFORE he was murdered/cut down. Who knows what world or society you would live in right now if it wasnt for him. It seems like you are saying he was on his way to achieve change, while it was change he was achieving every step of the way..and even after his death.

Actually, I bought the original 1983 Tommy Boy U.S. 12" and it did feature the iconic B/W photo cover sleeve. Ace tune - still sounds ahead of its time 30 yrs later!
