Quality is Talib Kweli’s first solo album. It was released on November 19, 2002 under Rawkus Records. It received wide critical acclaim and had some commercial appeal from the song Get By produced by Kanye West. The album is often hailed as a hip-hop classic by many fans.

The excellent Quality only ups the ante, building on its predecessor's clear-minded focus with greater scope and a more colorful musical palette. The opening trio of songs - "Rush," "Get By," and "Shock Body" - ranks among the most exciting music he's recorded, and the album only branches out from there.
