Adelmo Fornaciari Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI (Italian pronunciation: ; born 25 September 1955), more commonly known by his stage name Zucchero Fornaciari or simply Zucchero (pronounced ), is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician.
Zucchero's Spirito DiVino was designed as the album that would break the Italian star into the lucrative American audience, who had been ignoring the vocalist for nearly a decade. In essence, Spirito DiVino is no different than the singer's previous albums - after all, this was originally released as an Italian album and in that version, it sold over a half million copies in Europe. Most of the songs aren't particularly distinctive, lacking immediate melodies or memorable hooks.
UNIVERSAL MUSIC ITALY is releasing on November 20 th a special new album from Zucchero ‘Sugar’ Fornaciari; an album that he realized pursuing a dream that he had since many years. The album has been entirely recorded in L’Havana, Cuba, with the collaboration of several Cuban musicians, and it’s produced by Don Was. The album contains seven of his most successful hits, entirely re-arranged in a new version, plus six previously unreleased tracks, including new singles and covers, with very prestigious guests.
