Marie Adams (born Ollie Marie Givens, October 19, 1925 – February 23, 1998) was an American gospel and R&B singer, who became popular in the 1950s particularly for her work with Johnny Otis. She was born in Linden, Texas, and when young sang in gospel groups. After marrying, she began performing in Houston as Ollie Marie Adams, later dropping her first name. She made her first recordings for Don Robey's Peacock Records, with Bill Harvey's band.
Who's Foolin' Who is a 1982 album by the Detroit R&B band One Way. The album includes the band's highest chart appearance in the United States, "Cutie Pie", which peaked at on the Hot 100 (the band's only foray onto the Hot 100), on the dance charts, and on the R&B charts. The album's title track, "Who's Foolin' Who" was also released as the lead single, peaking at number 34 on the R&B chart. It did best in South Africa, where it reached number seven
Sweet Fanny Adams is the second album by Sweet, their first of two released in 1974, and also their first album simply as Sweet. The album was a turning point and change in the band's sound. It featured more of a hard rock sound than their previous pop records. The album title is English (originally Royal Navy) slang originating from the murder of eight-year-old Fanny Adams in 1867 and means "nothing at all" as well as a similar euphemism ".
