The real gem, and a definite 5-star album on its own, is "Claudine. Having all the songs written and produced by Curtis Mayfield is the clincher for me, but Gladys Knight more than hold her own on this material. Soul music at its best. The other soundtrack, "Pipe Dreams" is not nearly as well known, but it's got some good material too, sourced by a variety of writers.
