The 1982 New York Giants season was the franchise's 58th season in the National Football League. The season was shortened to nine games due to the 1982 NFL Players Strike. The season saw the Giants attempting to improve on its 9-7 record from 1981, a season in which they had made the playoffs for the first time since 1963 and also see them clinch their first winning record since 1972.
