Alternative variation of the original 1970s issue identified by the Garrod & Lofthouse credit on the back of the sleeve.Exactly the same sleeve layout as John Holt - The Further You Look with the only difference being the cover is not laminated.
Exactly the same label layout as John Holt - The Further You Look with the 'Made in England' text centred at the bottom of both labels. However the type and Trojan logo are printed in charcoal black on a light grey background.
This seems to be a hybrid release using the original label and sleeve artwork and A side stamper from the 1970's issue paired with a later lacquer cut by Geoff Emerick who also cut the 1984 reissue. See John Holt Sings For 'I'* - The Further You Look.
It is unclear why the two different stampers/plates were used for this release but this was possibly put out by the record company as a technical test to see how the 1984 cut compared to the original 1970s cut.
