Futurology is the twelfth studio album by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers. It was released on 7 July 2014 by record label Columbia.

Resistance Is Futile is the thirteenth album by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers, released on 13 April 2018.

The Help Album is a 1995 charity album to raise funds for the War Child charity, which provided aid war-stricken areas, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina. All the songs were recorded in a single day. The album features British and Irish artists including Paul McCartney, Paul Weller, Radiohead, Oasis, Blur and the Manic Street Preachers. It was followed by 1 Love (2002), Hope (2003), Help!: A Day in the Life (2005) and War Child Presents Heroes (2009).

Manic Eden were a short-lived hard rock band consisting of former members of Whitesnake and Little Caesar. Manic Nirvana is the fifth studio album by former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant, released March 19, 1990 on Es Paranza Records. The album's lead single, "Big Love", reached on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and its follow-up single, "Hurting Kind (I've Got My Eyes on You)", held the position on the same chart for six consecutive weeks. The vinyl release of the LP had 10 songs (5 on each side) rather than 11, omitting "She Said" from its track listing.

Manic Street Preachers won the Inspiration award at Wednesday's Q Awards, 25 years after releasing their debut album, Generation Terrorists. Michael Sheen presented the award, paraphrasing the lyrics to Design For Life, saying: "Libraries gave us power and this band gave us power!"
