Love is the eponymous debut album by the Los Angeles-based rock band Love, and was released in March 1966 on Elektra Records. Arthur Lee, who was originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but had lived in Los Angeles since he was five, had been recording since 1963 with his bands, the LAG's and Lee's American Four. He had written and also produced the single "My Diary" for Rosa Lee Brooks in 1964 which featured Jimi Hendrix on guitar.

Tapestry is the debut studio album by American folk singer Don McLean. The album was originally released by Mediarts Records but was re-launched in 1971 by United Artists after United Artists' purchase of Mediarts. The album was also reissued in 1981 on Liberty Records, but without including the song "Three Flights Up". The album was produced by Jerry Corbitt of the Youngbloods. All tracks written by Don McLean. Don McLean – vocals, guitar, banjo. Rick Turner – guitar, bass guitar.

A Love Supreme received two Grammy nominations, Downbeat’s readers crowned it 1965’s best album, and it went on to sell over half a million copies, making it the second highest selling jazz album of all time. The way it communicated greater ideas beyond the music so strongly is what gives it so much power. For Irabagon the idea of a larger form piece reflecting bigger, non-musical ideas was a revelation. Even back then I realized that the bigger statements really are the most important parts of that record, which is part of why it has become such a classic. The spiritual and religious aspects that Irabagon alludes to is a vital ingredient to what makes A Love Supreme stand out as one of the most iconic, revered, and popular recordings in the century-long history of jazz.

Dorte Through Journey and Banner Saga I've really come to love Austin Wintory's work.

Dangerously in Love was preceded by severely heavy promotion in the face of many obstacles. Knowles faced the challenges of her label’s disapproval of the progress of the project. While Columbia Records commissioned her to produce a solo project in 2001, her Destiny’s Child counterparts Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland had already done so by 2002. She took her time with the album while appearing in the films Austin Powers in Goldmember and The Fighting Temptations.
