Romantic OPera in 3 acts. Libretto: Friedrich Kind, Dialogues adapted by Gisela Schunk. Her voice is clear and concise in this recording of November 1979. The rest of the cast blends in beautifully along with Rafael Kubelik and the Bavarian Radio Chorus and Symphony Orchestra. The haunting scene at the "Wolfs' Glen" is of particular interest which is eerie and sends a chill up your spine. This is one of the best recordings I have heard of about this opera.
