Rosetta is a studio album by Greek composer and musician Vangelis, released on 23 September 2016 by Decca Records. It is dedicated to the Rosetta space probe mission, launched in 2004, being one of his several works which were inspired by space travel (Albedo . 9), or produced in collaboration with space missions (Mythodea). Rosetta received a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Age Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

Rosetta Tofano, Actress: Papà per una notte. Rosetta Tofano was born on March 5, 1902 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy as Rosa Cavallari. She was an actress and costume designer, known for Papà per una notte (1939), Two on a Vacation (1940) and Un mare di guai (1939). She was married to Sergio Tofano. She died on April 7, 1960 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

The new Vangelis album, Rosetta, is showing up in several online stores as scheduled for release Sept 23, 2016, on the Universal Music/Decca label. The track listing is to come, but Rosetta appears to be inspired by the European Space Agency (ESA) prove of the same name.

Rosetta Waltz’, which you can hear below, has been described as an expression of his appreciation to the mission team. The electronic pioneer says that mythology, science and space exploration have fascinated him since early childhood.
