Ganga loves trees and entered the world of downtempo electronic music with the album "I dream about trees" (Music for Dreams) in 2004. Since then Ganga has released 7 albums, many EPs and 12, and his numerous chilled downtempo tracks are now featured on more than 200 different chill out compilation albums, amongst them several appearances on the infamous Café Del Mar compilation and Buddha Bar.

Dust is the seventh and final studio album by Screaming Trees, released on June 25, 1996. After an aborted attempt at recording a followup to Sweet Oblivion with producer Don Fleming, the band hired producer George Drakoulias to man the controls for what eventually turned out to be their last album.

Tree, Trees - Dream Symbols. Guest Author - Aisling Ireland. In Western culture, perhaps the most famous tree is arguably the one in Eden from which Adam and Eve ate thereby causing the fall of humanity. The Tree of the Knowledge often overshadows the other tree in the Edenic garden, the Tree of Life. However, in other cultures, the mythological motif of the World Tree (another form of the Tree of Life) is the one that gets the most press. The symbolism of trees as life sustaining entities is easy to see. Trees provide food and oxygen; their roots have the capacity to find nourishment that is hidden deep in the earth and far from sight. Trees provide shelter and shade. Trees, therefore, may appear in dreams as symbols of a desire for sustenance, or they may indicate that one is feeling capable of providing sustenance to others.

To dream of lush green trees symbolizes new beginnings, development, and desires. It is also indicative of your uniqueness and maturity. To dream that you are climbing a tree signifies that you will accomplish your professional goals and become a member of the higher echelon of society. The degree of difficulty that you experienced when climbing the tree is commensurate with the speed of achieving these goals. To dream that you cut down a tree signifies that you are foolishly pursuing things that are a waste of your resources

Music For Dreams specializes in pleasant downtempo, and Ganga's debut album, _I Dream About Trees_ pretty much fits the bill. What is it about Scandanavians and their love of international downtempo? Well, whatever it is, the easygoing quality of this album lets it glide right across your consciousness. Indeed, the music is like candy for the ears -- but if you eat too much of it at once, you want to vomit. In this, at least, they share much with labelmates Bliss, though Ganga remains, for the most part, steadfastly instrumental (except for the track, "Don't Cry"). And while there's nothing terrible about this albu, there's nothing really great, either. The steady kick drum and guitar work on "Luna" help lift that track above the fray, but it's background music beyond that.
