Yuggoth (or Iukkoth) is a fictional planet in the Cthulhu Mythos of H. P. Lovecraft. It is deemed to be located at the very edge of the Solar System.
Why don't we break the rules already? I was never one to believe the hype - save that for the black and white I try twice as hard and I'm half as liked, but here they come again to jack my style Well, this is it guys, that is all - five minutes in and I'm bored again Ten years of this, I'm not sure if anybody understands This one is not for the folks at home; Sorry to leave, mom, I had to go Who the fuck wants to die alone all dried up in the desert sun? My heart is breaking for my sister and the con that she call "love" But when I look into my nephew's eyes.
One of the moons of Yuggoth holds designs that are sacred to the Mi-Go; these are useful in various processes mentioned in the Necronomicon Supposedly, a group known as the Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign are dedicated to hunting them down and exterminating the fungoid threat, though it is unknown if this is actually true since it was given as a reason for their remaining hidden. Migou is the Tibetan equivalent of the yeti, an ape-like cryptid said to inhabit the high mountain ranges of that region. While the Mi-Go of Lovecraft's mythos is completely unlike the migou of Tibetan stories, Lovecraft seems to equate the two, as can be seen in the following excerpt from "The Whisperer in Darkness"
Fungi from Yuggoth plus other poems, prose-poems and fragments by . Fungi From Yuggoth I. The Book The place was dark and dusty and halflost In tangles of old alleys near the quays, Reeking of strange things brought in from the seas, And with queer curls of fog that west winds tossed. Small lozenge panes, obscured by smoke and frost, Just shewed the books, in piles like twisted trees, Rotting from floor to roof-congeries Of crumbling elder lore at little cost. I entered, charmed, and from a cobwebbed heap Took up the nearest tome and thumbed it through, Trembling at curious words that seemed to keep Some secret, monstrous if one only knew

After their debut "Cosmic Poems", hard rock, metal unit Terrible Old Man return with "Fungi From Yuggoth", an album inspired by the work of H. All tracks belong to the same poem cycle of H. Lovecraft, where the first ten sonnets are explored on this album. Musically, it's high-class heavy metal. Unlike the debut, the individual songs are less bulky and more catchy.
The album itself - by multi instrumentalist and Sky Shadow Obelisk frontman rscartabello - is dedicated to Jon (The Wizard) Rossi (1991-2017), of Pilgrim. Today’s spin is dedicated to my best friend and companion for more than 10 years, my basset Geech, who developed severe seizures in recent months. I have a couple for today’s theme, so let’s start with this one ‘Sky Shadow Obelisk’. rscartabello told me to check it out, limited to 250 copies on Yuggoth Records. Influences from doom, prog rock and classical composers Birth to death, records is a mans vision, and lifeblood.
Looking for a song that's kind of a slow oldies rock ballad. I think the opening lyrics go "Love of my life, I don't want to live without you" though I'm not certain how accurate that is. The singer sounds similar to Eric Clapton, and the first line when he sings "Love of my life" sounds almost like the same notes as Clapton's "Lay Lady La. Anonymous 23 June 2019 Reply.
