Perfect Symmetry is the third studio album by English rock band Keane, released on 13 October 2008 in the United Kingdom. According to international Island Records manager, Jon Turner, "the general international feel is of excitement and 'Spiralling' is a favourite track of the US company.

Keane bids adieu to balladry and ushers in a different style - '80s pop - with Perfect Symmetry.

Unfortunately, Perfect Symmetry is an album characterized by its heavy-handedness, so while it sounds as though the band was aiming for Echo & the Bunnymen, they hit Duran Duran or Simple Minds instead, making for a brand new record that often sounds badly dated.

In an interview before the album had been completed, Rice-Oxley told Qmagazine February 2008: "'Perfect Symmetry' sounds like something off (Bowie's 1973 album) Aladdin Sane. Rice-Oxley explained to The Sun why Keane chose the album title Perfect Symmetry. He said: "It's about the extremes of the human condition. The way that people have this capacity for real greatness and achievement, yet also this ability to sabotage and destroy everything.
