The electro-acoustic duo Kristoff K. Roll (Jean-Christophe Camps and Carole Rieussec) take their time. Each album is a labor of love. Le Petit Bruit à Côté du Coeur du Monde (Little Murmur From Next to the Heart of the World), a set of two CDs plus a 95-page booklet, sees them reach a new level of beauty. This project gestated for seven years and went through eight different stages of development. On disc two there is Variation Seven, much more improvised, with Lazro playing a central part and Kristoff K. Roll manipulating samples live in addition to playing objects and small instruments.
