All Kinds Of Weather finds Red Garland heading up one of several late-fifties trio sessions at the Rudy Van Gelder studio in Hackensack, NJ. As always, the trio is formed by Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass, and Art Taylor on drums. By the time this album was released these three men were intimately acquainted with each other, having performed and recorded together on numerous occasions, and it shows.
