This three-track CD is a Brian Wilson tribute from an obscure Spanish pop band from the guitar-driven indie pop scene covered by the Madrid indie label Elefant. Along with fellow Spanish groups Tecnicolor and Cecelia Ann, the Automatics are a group dedicated to grand pop perfection. Sixties-inspired melodies, Hammond organ, and delicate acoustic arrangements are the fare for this group's sound, which is a distinctively European take on Big Star and the Beach Boys.
