Here are ten of the New Kids on the Block's best songs. 10. "Call It What You Want". This song was released with two versions, the original which appeared on the Step by Step album and a funky version released on the No More Games/The Remix Album. Lead vocals on the song were sung by Jordan Knight, McIntyre, and Wahlberg, the song was written and produced by Starr. The remix also featured vocals by C+C Music Factory in the introduction. Featured on their 1994 album Face the Music, the band wanted to return to their musical rap roots with this single. Vocals by Jordan Knight and featuring some rap breakdowns by Wahlberg, the group added former East Coast hip hop duo, Nice & Smooth to the single. The song became the final single to enter the charts for the band before their ultimate split in 1995 and their 2008 reunion. 7. "You Got It (The Right Stuff)".

The following year, Nice & Smooth appeared on the single Dirty Dawg by boy band New Kids On The Block. In 1994, they collaborated with dance pop group C+C Music Factory on the Do You Wanna Get Funky remix. Nice & Smooth’s third album, Jewel Of The Nile (released in 1994), was the first to feature beats by outside producers

The New Kids return after much ridicule and doubt with the defensive Face the Music, and, surprise! - it isn't bad at all. Sure, they've changed their style a bit - their new jack R&B is a bit rougher, the lyrics are a touch nastier, and their hip-hop sounds a little more real - but none of it sounds fake, and the best tracks on the album might impress even the most jaded listener.
