Ronnie Lee Milsap (born January 16, 1943) is an American country music singer and pianist. He was one of country music's most popular and influential performers of the 1970s and 1980s. He became one of the most successful and versatile country "crossover" singers of his time, appealing to both country and pop music markets with hit songs that incorporated pop, R&B, and rock and roll elements.

Collaboration appears on Milsap’s latest album ‘The Duets’. Recommended by 114 people. He has a great voice and all of his songs are excellent. I love all of his music.

Hall of fame vocalist and instrumentalist Ronnie Milsap impacted country, rock, and soul music over the decades. He got you fully immersed in his storytelling and strong vocals. He followed Charlie Pride's advice in 1973 and relocated to Nashville to pursue a country music career. This gorgeous Burt Bacharach co-write off Milsap's Inside album has it all-piano accompaniment, romantic lyrics, '80s production experimentation and a fantastic performance by one of country music's most dynamic vocalists. 7. "She Keeps the Home Fires Burning". One of Milsap's best romantic songs is the type of open-ended story that might just represent true and lasting love.

Given Ronnie Milsap's sustained success as a country balladeer, it's a little surprising to revisit his eponymous 1971 debut and realize that he only dabbled in country at the outset of his career. To be sure, there are ballads and country music here, but the heart of this album is in Southern soul and R&B, indebted equally to Ray Charles' country-soul and Charlie Rich's soulful, bluesy blend of Southern sounds and how Elvis elaborated on Rich's innovations on his 1968 comeback.

Images (Ronnie Milsap album). Images is the tenth studio album by country singer Ronnie Milsap. It was originally released in 1979 on RCA Nashville and released in digital MP3 format in 2013. It would become Ronnie Milsap's twelfth number one on the country chart. In No Time at All" was released in August 1979 as the second single from the album Images. The song reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles
