Brave New World (Iron Maiden album). Brave New World is the twelfth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 29 May 2000. It was their first studio release since the return of longtime lead singer Bruce Dickinson (who left in 1993) and guitarist Adrian Smith (who left in 1990) in 1999, as well as the band's first studio recording as a six-piece, as Janick Gers, who replaced Smith in 1990, remained with the band.

In 1986, his album Parade reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the R&B charts. The first single, "Kiss", with the video choreographed by Louis Falco, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. (The song was originally written for a side project called Mazarati. In the same year, the song "Manic Monday", written by Prince and recorded by the Bangles, reached No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart. On June 28, 2007, the Mail on Sunday stated that it had made a deal to give Prince's new album, Planet Earth, away for free with the paper, making it the first place in the world to get the album. This move sparked controversy among music distributors and also led the UK arm of Prince's distributor, Sony BMG, to withdraw from distributing the album in UK stores. The UK's largest high street music retailer, HMV, stocked the paper on release day due to the giveaway.

Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you RAVE THE REQVIEM - another incredible emerging talent identified and added to the embarrassment of musical riches that is DWA’s artist roster, a polarized and bittersweet sound where mechanical darkness meets beauty and sentiment. released April 11, 2014.

Groove the Planet is The tune on this record! This is a wicked piece of Dutch Classic Rave packed full of energy and atmosphere! Starting off with a bleepy, spooky intro which sounds like a sample of a Sci-Fi film ... "70 Billion people / where are they hiding" This is a quote from an Outer Limits episode titled: Demon With A Glass Hand ... Another wicked tune in my collection =) Don't you just love it, when all bass n bleeps come together so nicely in a tune like this one?

Head straight for the "Groove The Planet" mix on this one. It's not widely regarded as a classic but it's a legendary tune to me. I use to always use this as my first tune in sets many years ago. To say it sent the party "bananas!" is an understatement. I also heard this played by legendary Plymouth DJ's SAS (Shaun & Simon) on a considerably larger system to the ones I was used to playing on. It was one of those defining moments of my "Raving" days. This was at one of the many "illegal" raves, we had here in the fields of the West Country of England where you cou couldn't wish to find a better atmosphere or party-spirit. Thanks to Maggie Thatcher and her fascist government those days are no more. This is a wicked piece of Dutch Rave packed full of energy and atmosphere. Starting off with a bleepy, spooky intro which sounds like a sample of a Sci-Fi film (the name of which escapes me). It's not long before the track explodes into a big ravey riff. This is replaced with some fantastic, natural sounding breaks (they sound like a live drummer!) and a cool, funky bassline. All these elements soon combine to create a riot of a tune and it's worth letting this one play right to the end. One my all time favourites from the early 90's and still cherished to this day. TUNE!!!

"Groove the planet" starts with a sample "there are 70 billion people on earth; where are they hiding?" which is from an episode of The Outer Limits called "Demon with a glass hand"
