Viva! Roxy Music was the first live Roxy Music album. It was released in August 1976 and was recorded at three venues in the United Kingdom between 1973 and 1975. The recordings were from the band's shows at the Glasgow Apollo in November 1973, Newcastle City Hall in October 1974 and the Wembley Empire Pool in October 1975. Studio Album - June 1972. The band performed many live dates throughout UK as early as December 1971. From 14th -29th March 1972 Roxy Music record their debut album for £5,000 at Command Studios, London with producer Pete Sinfield. The album is mixed starting on Monday 3rd April and is finished by Friday 7th April 1972. Roxy Music’s first appearance on TV is on 20th June 1972 on BBC’s ‘The Old Grey Whistle Test’ performing an extended version of ‘Ladytron’.

Roxy Music is a music live recording by ROXY MUSIC (Crossover Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1976 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. The first live Roxy Music album is kind of a mixed bag for fans. At the time it was released the band was breaking up (McKay disowned the LP in interviews). It was recorded in different occasions (hence the use of 4 different bass players!) and the set list is rather ragged.
